Introducing Myself and 5 Goals of Placement

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Jacob James Girard and I live in a town 20 minutes west of Barrie called Angus. I live in a suburban area with my mom, her bf, my older sister, and my dog. I've lived in this area my entire life and also attended Nottawasaga Pines Secondary School, which is also located in Angus. Growing up I was always involved in sports. I played baseball from the time I was 5 until I was 12 and I've been playing basketball since I was 4 and still continue to do so to this day. I only began working out 2 years ago and honestly I've come a long way from where I started and I couldn't be any happier! My goal in life is to be a successful physiotherapist and/or nutritionist, and also to be financially stable!

5 Goals that I have set for myself in my placement at Sports medicine and Physiotherapy include:

1) To sit in with 2 clients each day I work
2) To ask 5 questions a day that I may be wondering or have left unanswered
3) To help book or be included in the process of managing one client’s portfolio per day
4) To complete at least 6 hours a week at my placement to maintain a relationship with my supervisor
5) To learn 3 different movements for a sore shoulder

I hope you enjoyed my first blog post and many more to come over the semester!
